Gone are the days when taking home a tape backup ensures a successful business recovery. Even with cloud backups and failover servers, the digital world is still far from safe. A business loss comes in many forms and fashions. Sometimes it comes from things beyond your control such as a fire, hurricane, tornadoes, ice storms, building collapses, etc. Others come from types of theft such as employees, burglaries, data breaches, data sabotage, and malware (such as viruses and ransomware). There are even threats that exist if you have a current IT provider and their management software is breached, as was the case for Internal IT Departments and MSP's using Kaseya and Solarwinds. We witnesses another form of disaster with COVID 19 and when employees go on strike. The threats are endless!
It's terrible feeling when you realize you should have had a plan and your data is gone! We get calls from many companies that talked about a disaster recovery plan for years, but never finished implementing it. We have even received calls from businesses that had a DR plan, but it failed when they tried to executed it and now needs our help.
SUURV knows your data is important, and will always have a plan to recovery your data no matter what. While we would love to tell you that we can prevent 100% of every breach, this is simply not possible by any IT provider or security company. Our company takes an approach to mitigate all risk based on your level of comfort, but prioritize data integrity so that it can be restored in case a breach were to ever happen. There is no one size fits all when it comes to Disaster Recovery. Some will need data up to the minute, some need it weekly. Some of our clients have servers replicated over multiple regions for redundancy. We are unlike other MSP Providers as we take a layered approach to Disaster Recovery and it is in the forefront of our offerings, not just an afterthought that most other service companies call an "add-on".
At SUURV, we work with your business to identify a disaster recovery (DR) plan and make sure your company can execute on it if the need ever arises.
